Join the league! If you are interested in registering for the 2020 winter/spring season, please read the following information and then fill out the registration form.

Once registered you will be added to a team and play games against the other teams every Wednesday evening at Brandon University (HLC – Main Gym South) starting January 8, 2020 – April 1, 2020. Your registration fee of $95 will be required on or before January 8, 2020. Players WILL NOT be permitted to play or received their jersey until their player fee is paid in full.


PAYING YOUR FEES

Player fees will be $95 this season as our operating costs have increased. The cost will cover gym rental, player insurance, player jerseys, and MABO Referees. Payment will be accepted by E-TRANSFER only. Please complete anĀ online e-transfers from your online banking account/app.

AGE REQUIREMENT & ELIGIBILITY

AGE REQUIREMENT: Players must be at least 18 years of age by DECEMBER 31, 2020.

ELIGIBILITY: So as not to interfere with the MHSAA basketball league, players turning 18 by December 31, 2020 and no longer playing MHSAA high school basketball are eligible to play in the BWBL. If you are currently playing in a high school league, players may only participate in the BWBL if the BWBL does not interfere with the high school sports schedule. If there are overlaps, players must attend their high school sporting event.


REFUND POLICY

A full refund* will only be issued until midnight of the first game day. The player must submit in writing (email, text, private social media message) their request for a refund before midnight on January 8, 2020. The player must return their un-altered jersey to received the full refund*. If you have altered your jersey in any way, the cost of the jersey will be deducted from your total refund amount.

A partial refund* will only be available to players until the end of the 6th week (February 12, 2020). After this, there will be no refund offered to those that choose to leave the league. The partial refund will be issued based on a cost-per-game calculation, plus the cost of the jersey (jersey is not returnable at this point in the season). The player must submit in writing (email, text, private social media message) their request for a refund before midnight on February 12, 2019 to be eligible for the partial refund.

*A $5 administration fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
